Sylacauga Christmas Parade presented by Coosa Pines Federal Credit Union

Celebrate the magic of the season at the Sylacauga Christmas Parade—the premier Christmas event for the Sylacauga region!

Held annually on the first Thursday in December, this beloved community tradition welcomes more than 6,000 spectators to historic downtown Sylacauga. The parade features over 75 festive entries, including beautifully decorated floats, marching bands, local businesses, schools, churches, community organizations, and Christmas characters.

Each year, a special Grand Marshal leads the celebration through downtown, and the evening concludes with the moment everyone is waiting for—a special appearance by Santa Claus!

Gather your family and friends, find your favorite spot along the parade route, and join us for a joyful evening filled with the sights, sounds, and spirit of Christmas in Sylacauga!

The parade begins at Sylacauga High School, goes south on Broadway Avenue, turns right on Fort Williams Street, turns back right on Norton Avenue, and ends at Sylacauga Parks and Recreation.
