The Town of Oak Grove is seeking a person to fill an hourly position for the Assistant Clerk Position. This position is up to 40 hours per week and reports to the Town Clerk. Must have knowledge of bookkeeping practices, general office procedures and must be proficient in computer use in accounting, Excel, Word and use of the internet. Experience in a related field with either technical school or college education, or a combination, will be considered. This candidate must have the ability to be discreet and confidential and be personable to work with the public. Must possess a clean driving record in accordance with Oak Grove policies and procedures and have a valid drivers license. Must be bondable. Pre-employment background checks and drug tests are required. Free single health coverage.
