About Us
One Company, One Plant, One Team
Our manufacturing facility in Lincoln, Alabama has the capacity to build more than 300,000 Odyssey minivans, Pilot sport utility vehicles, Ridgeline pick-up trucks and V-6 engines annually, making Honda Manufacturing of Alabama (HMA) Honda's largest light truck production source.
Our dedicated team of more than 4,000 associates is now solely responsible for global production of the popular Odyssey, Pilot and Ridgeline. With the addition of a new Honda Engineering facility, on-site consolidation center and steel blanking operation, HMA's investment in Alabama now totals more than $1.4 billion.
HMA shares Honda's global goal of providing high quality products at a reasonable price. We also share Honda's global leadership in environmental stewardship. In fact, our companywide commitment to the principle of ''Reduce, Reuse and Recycle'' has established HMA as a Zero Landfill Facility, meaning HMA's operations send nothing to a landfill. In addition, HMA has received Energy Star awards from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). These awards are based on advances in curbing energy use during the production of light trucks.
What began as a global company's dream in 1999 of establishing operations in Alabama has now become a successful reality. In the coming years, HMA will remain committed as a reliable and dedicated partner in strengthening relationships with the communities where our associates live and work.
