SUMMARY:Super Sports Weekend: Beach Volleyball Tournament
DESCRIPTION:This is a 4v4 tournament that will be held at the sand volleyball courts at Noble Park on Friday May 15th. The tournament will consist of a 3-game guarantee and then a single elimination bracket. You can register as a 2 person team or as an individual. A blind draw will choose teams for your team or other two partners. Games will begin at 6pm\, please meet under the small pavilion by 5:00 pm.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nThe Sylacauga Parks & Recreation is thrilled to announce Super Sports Weekend to be held in various locations throughout the city of Sylacauga. \n\nWe'll kick off the weekend with a flex-start Disc Golf Tournament at Lake Howard followed by Food Truck Friday in the new Courtside Park\, and a Beach Volleyball Tournament to be held at Noble Park. On Saturday\, join us for a 5k Trail Run at the beautiful Sylaward Trail at Lake Howard\, Pickleball Tournament at Courtside Park\, and Men's Softball Tournament at the Donald Comer Complex.\n\nThis event will serve as a fundraising initiative for our local civic organizations: Civitan\, Kiwanis\, Lions\, and Rotary.  If you are not available to participate in any of these tournaments or sports simply aren't your thing\, you can still be involved! We are accepting sponsorships to benefit these organizations and their individual philanthropic services. Craig Smith Community Center.\n\n5k Run\n\nThe 5k Trail Run on our beautiful Sylaward Trail will be held on Saturday\, May 16th. This will be a looped run with official time keeping. Gates will open at 7am and the run will start at 8am. Please be sure to meet at the trail head by the pavilions prior to the start. Fun Run and Walkers are welcome to attend. All proceeds will go to our local civic groups.\n \n\nDisc Golf Tournament\n\nThis event will be on our Sylacauga Disc Golf Course at Lake Howard on May 15th. The tournament will be tracked by the PDGA scoring system and will be a flex start. Amateurs and experts are invited to participate!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nPickleball Tournament\n\nGames will be played at our new Courtside Park starting at 10:00 AM on May 16th. Ages 5 and up can participate! There will be a 3 game guarantee starting with pool play and then a single elimination tournament.
