Sylacauga Parks & Recreation invites teens and adults to kick off the fall season with creativity and fun at Pumpkin Paint Night on Thursday, October 2 at 6:00 PM at the J. Craig Smith Community Center. This two-hour event is perfect for a girls' night out or anyone looking to add a festive touch to their fall décor.
Led by local artist Abby Jessup, participants will be guided in painting real pie-size pumpkins. Abby will be there to assist with techniques, provide samples to spark your creativity, and help you create your pumpkin exactly how you envision it. All supplies are included in the $30 registration fee, but guests are welcome to bring their own faux pumpkin if they prefer to create something that will last beyond the season.
Class size is limited to 40 participants, so early registration is encouraged. Sign up online at Sylacauga.Recdesk.com, by calling 256.249.8561, or in person at the J. Craig Smith Community Center. Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card. The registration deadline is September 18 to ensure adequate time to order supplies.
Join us for a relaxed and festive evening of fall fun—you bring the creativity, we’ll bring the pumpkins!
