The Sylacauga Community Playhouse (SCP) invites you to join young Alice on her fanciful trip down the rabbit hole, into the topsy-turvy world of Wonderland. In her pursuit to find her true purpose, Alice encounters a variety of splendiferous creatures who encourage her to get in touch with her inner fabulosity. From the perpetually-tardy White Rabbit, to the Mad Hatter, to the tyrannical Queen of Hearts and a host of other unforgettable characters, the residents of Wonderland become “curiouser and curiouser” as Alice wanders further into her magical adventure. Based on the 1951 Disney film “Alice in Wonderland” and the novels “The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass” by Lewis Carroll, the 2018 SCP production of “Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR.” will be performed July 19-22 in the Sylacauga High School auditorium.
